“Cotton Candy Quilts”

A celebration of busy, but fun prints. Feed sacks and vintage and reproduction prints from the 30s-70s provide a walk down memory lane. You hate them or you buy them but can’t cut them. Mary shares some of their history and shows how they can be made into new quilts. Find out how she approaches making quilts with fabric from the “near past”.

The PVQA meetings are held on the second Monday of every month at:

Beth-El Jewish Community Center
3055 Porter Gulch Rd at Soquel Dr
Aptos, California

Social time begins at 6:30 PM and the meeting starts promptly at 7:00 PM.

Parking is limited, but there is additional parking on the street or at Cabrillo College. Click here for directions.

Foolproof Machine Quilting—The Fun Stuff.

$30 for PVQA members and $50 for non-members. Workshop runs from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, 7807 Soquel Dr Aptos, CA 95003.

To register for this or any other PVQA workshop, you may sign up and pay at the general meeting, contact Jaimie Chism (831) 728-0626, .  Or, you may sign up and pay with PayPal.
