Saturday, March 10,  and Sunday, March 11

On Saturday, March 10, Allie will give a class on Cotton Crazy Quilt Piecing. She will cover two methods of curved machine crazy “piecing” (hint: it is really applique!), creating a small project with a central block and narrow border. Sunday’s class will focus on Embellishing the Cotton Crazy Quilt. Allie will be teaching basic crazy quilt embroidery stitches, the ones used traditionally to cover the seams between patches on crazy quilts.  Day 2’s work can go onto Day 1’s project, or students can sign up just for Day 2 and bring in fabric for creating a stitch sample.  The fee for each workshop is $35 for PVQA members and $50 for non-members.
