THE ART OF HAND QUILTING - This is a two-part class on November 11th from 2pm to 5pm and November 18th from 2 pm to 5pm.  The class includes a workbook, materials for a class sample and 6 hours of instruction.  Classes are usually small, so you will receive individual instruction and advice.  The class will cover supplies, equipment, types of threads, needles, thimbles, batting choices, making templates, applying the quilting design.  We have a great time in this class.  The focus is to relax and enjoy.  Susan is known for ‘breaking the rules” and has made this intimidating technique one that anyone can accomplish.  People who have taken this class have said it was “a lot of fun” and they left the class with a new perspective of what hand quilting is all about.
