A special evening for members and their guests. Relax with friends, see the quilts without the crowds, and be among the first to peruse the Merchant Mall and Bargain Garden.

Don't forget your check book as the Apple Piecers have another exciting silent auction planned for the Preview Party. They have great items and are still accepting donations for the silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to the guild's general fund as a thank you for their support to the children in need in our community.

Silent Auction Seeks Donations

Treasures as well as new merchandise are now being collected for the Silent Auction that will be held at the Preview Party on February 20, to kick off the 2009 PVQA Quilt Show.

"In past years we've auctioned off fabric, small quilts, jewelry, purses, quilt kits, baskets of quilt/sewing items, machine quilting gift certificates, and other beautiful items that our generous members and merchant mall participants have donated," stated Sue Costa, Apple Piecers representative. This year the Apple Piecers Community Outreach Group is coordinating the Silent Auction with all proceeds going to the PVQA General Fund. "This is our way of thanking the Guild for their continued support of the important work that we perform," she added.
