This workshop will be designed to support people interested in participating in the Quilt challenge, “Every picture tells a story” for PVQA’s 2011 Quilt Fair. A wide variety of techniques used for making pictures in cloth will be demonstrated. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of techniques they like to use for pictorial type projects for show and tell. Keri Duke
Keri Duke from Maui will give a class on how to make the “Hawaiian Breadfruit” Hawaiian Quilt. Keri will teach her Hawaiian hand-applique techniques using the Breadfruit (Ulu) pattern, a Hawaiian symbol of fruitfulness and good luck. No sewing machine is required. Holly Casey

On Saturday, November 6, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Holly Casey will teach a class on how to construct an equilateral triangle
block, toward making her Snowflake quilt. Cost of the class is $25. A 10” or 12” Clearview Triangle ruler is
