Quilting 101 – Beginning quilting techniques

Cost: $25.00 (includes lunch)

Fifth Session of Quilting 101 with Claire Witherspoon at her home in Soquel. This class is designed as a general introduction for beginners and review for any quilter who wants to improve their piecing skills.

Each month the class will focus on some block designs that explore particular piecing techniques, The final goal being enough blocks to make a Sampler Quilt!  October’s class will explore 3 ways to make Flying Geese and several blocks in which they can be used.  Future classes dates TBA.  Classes are being offered on an indiviual basis at $25.00 / class and lunch is included!  Space is limited and available on a first come first served basis, so sign-up early!

PVQA Mission

The purpose of the Pajaro Valley Quilt Association (PVQA) is to encourage the art of quilt making which includes acquiring and sharing knowledge of quilt designs and quilt techniques; preserving and continuing the tradition, culture and history of quilting; encouraging quilt making and collecting, sponsoring and supporting quilting activities, including outreach programs, and providing education meetings.
