PVQA Quilts for Veterans PVQA Quilts for Veterans Each year PVQA members make and deliver roughly 100 lap quilts to the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, to be distributed among the wounded soldiers who are recovering from various military conflicts. These men and women can be injured physically, mentally, emotionally, or all of the above. We are happy to report that the VA is once again accepting our quilts for their wounded soldiers. They need lap quilts, 36” x 48” (3 x 4 feet) due to many of the soldiers being wheelchair bound. If you choose to make a quilt for this cause, we ask that you honor these men and women with attractive, well-made, finished quilts (i.e., quilted and bound) appropriate for either gender. Give a quilt you can be proud of, and one the recipient can treasure and use for a long time. Get in Touch! Click Here to Contact PVQA Quilts for Veterans
