AM Crazy Quilt Quick Embroidery with Helen Klee May 16 Techniques Day
We will make a handsewn crazy quilt block with themed fabric prints. As you chose your fabrics from the huge assortment provided, also look to find other embellishments such as ribbon, lace, cords buttons, etc. You will learn basic embroidery stitches to enhance the block.

About the event
This class, taught by Helen Klee, is for the AM class and part of the May 16 Techniques Day. Participants should choose one AM and one PM class.
In this 2.5 -hour class, you will make a crazy quilt block with a themed fabric print as the focus. As you are gathering the fabrics from Helen's large stash, you may also want to look for other embellishment items you might want to use --ribbon, lace, cord, trim, braids, buttons, charms, sequins and found objects. While you are at it, select a couple of embroidery threads (floss) you want to use on your block. You will learn various embroidery stitches to enhance your crazy block. YOU ARE NOW READY TO HAVE SOME FUN—WE ONLY HAVE TWO and ONE-HALF HOURS!
